In light of Ty Hunt's (Beyonces stylist) clothing line collabo with Served Fresh I decided to throw together a long overdue paperdawl to get your creative juices flowing. For yhose of you who arent aware of the launch here is a little blurb from servedfreshcollection.com
Ty's paperdawl is wearing an exclamation tee which can be found on www.servedfreshcollection.com, Helmut Lang coated jeans, Kate Spade glitter belt, Maison Michel Fedora, triangle choker from Pat Field, Chicnova plaid cost, Dr. Marten's velvet boots, and YSL velvet purse.

Feeling a bit of a cranberry craving coming on.

This past week I had the ultimate delight of visiting my ALL time FAVORITE boutique ever after a tough week of finals, Patricia Field!!! I had to make a Paperdawl for you lovelies and share the awesome pairs of Irregular Choice shoes I scooped for less than $21 a piece. You may recognize the Momma wedges from my previous posts so imagine how elated I was to finally make them ALL mine.  If you are in the area you should definitely give her boutique a visit.  She always has something special nestled in her store full of fantazmic pieces.
The first pair I purchased are a boucle platform heel with cute little pompoms sprinkled all over. I dazzled this dawl up with some other items I totally adore that you can find in the Pat Field shop in NYC and her online shop. Latex Muir cap, strawberry ice cream cone earrings, Hippie circle shades, Nomad Hippie high waisted shorts,  Neon Indian jammy pack, and KRUSH89 "I Woke Up Like This" sweatshirt. I just can't wait to wear these unique little duds down the busy streets of Manhattan.
The second pair I purchased were the Momma wedges in black. I nearly had a heart attack when I saw the price after knowing these babies were previously a whopping $190+. This dawl is fitted in a Blue unisex Monster Hoodie, Belted Dom skirt, Leopard elbow gloves, JOYRICH silver graffiti bag, Coco Pearl double clip on earrings, and a pair of purple clear bar sunnies.
Last but not least, the pair that started it all, which are the metallic green  snakeskin Momma wedges. Yes, I purchased two of the same style. That's how much I love them. I wrapped this dawl up in cutout metal shades, a stag beetle necklace, KIRA KIRA bezazzled snapback, STUDmuffin NYC studded designer bag and daisy dukes, and a Frida Chola dress.

Trust me if you love fashion mixed with a whole lot of fun you will love this place. If you cant make it in by foot you can shop online at www.patriciafield.com! Go check it out!!!

Okay so this one will be short and sweet. I ran across these Jeffrey Campbell  Pile knee high boots on nastygal.com and fell madly and deeply in love with them. So I thought it'd be appropriate to whip up a paperdawl for you lovelies. To ice off these sky high baddies I  paired this Stella McCartney wool and silk blend lipstick sweater with Kenzo eye pants. Its all about the face here. To accessorize I pulled black and gold jewelry. Tory Burch gingham gold plated resin ring, chronicle gold rings from pixiemarket.com and MCL black spiral hoop earrings. I thought this red paparazzi lips hard box clutch was amazing so i had to squeeze that in to add a little playful touch.  Last of all, the winning piece, kaleidoscope glasses from amazon.com.

5! 4! 3! 2! 1!   HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! Need some last minute inspiration to end 2013 with a fashionable bang?! Well, here are 5 looks you can totally rock at your designated NYE shindigs. From the super flashy to the minimalist. These paperdawls will surely make one stand out in the crowd. LET's GET GLAMMED IN 2014!!
Look 5 (The left)

I paired up some snazzy duds for the gal that wants to shine bright like a diamond all night long.  This totally exposed sequin dress in red by societyofchic.com is paired with Miu Miu embellished suede pumps, a blue Ted Baker clutch, a Kenneth Jay Lane coral necklace and cushion cut zirconium stud earrings by Desario.

Look 4 (The right)

This sequined dress  by societyofchic.com will have everyone green with envy as you float across the dance floor. I paired this rich little one with Steve Madden gold strappy pumps, green quartz earrings from 1stdibs.com and a gold perspex clutch by Style Net.

Look 3 (The Left)

This one is for the daring only. I LOVE LOVE LOVE mixing prints. Totally need more of them. This little paperdawl screams party animal in her Lela animal print bandage dress, paired with Guisseppe Zanotti hot pink heels (shopbop.com), Edie Parker confetti clutch and Elvira Sazesh green suede bracelet from boticca.com. She is definitely the life of the party.

Look 2 (The right)

This paperdawl still wants to have a little fun but finds that conservative doesn't necessarily have to be dull. She still wants to wear bold colors but wants to maintain her "grown and sexy" reputation.  She is wearing a Balmain (one of my favs) violet dress, Dannijo "Levi" necklace, an emerald sparkly crystal satin clutch from LSBAG.CO.UK and Privileged "Gabriella" Pumps from karmaloop.com.

Last but not least, LOOK 1 ! My favorite look of them all, strangely.  Maybe its the Alaia velvet dress with a super full skirt that has me drooling over this ensemble.  This paperdawl is nothing less than classy. She embraces the concept of "You wear the outfit, don't let the outfit wear you", very well.  A Tiravan triangle  clutch, and Lanvin "oracle" necklace create simple clean lines which compliment this gorgeous dress. Along with a Burberry studded leather cuff and black studs to complete this outfit. Though she may be simple she still is daring with a pop of color in her yellow Carvela Geiger pumps. Cant miss this one "cuttin up a rug".

HAPPY NEW YEARS DAWLS!

Having started the countdown to the holiday season, I thought it’d be nothing less than appropriate to share my Paperdawl Christmas wishlist with you!  I sought long and hard after these special little finds, so they are picked with a whole lotta love and a little bit of sparkle.

(1) What better way than to warm up indoors with a shearling swing vest from Anthropologie which can be paired up with a basic long sleeve tee. Add a simple gold necklace and some pearl earrings and you are good to go.

(2) I also have had my eye on these seamed bambi flare jeans from freepeople.com. They might not be for the not-so-daring but these certainly are a change up from your regular slim fit jeans.

(3) Another cool find I’m swooning over are these “Natalie” mink eyelashes from flutterlashes.com. They run about $40 a pop but they look so natural and are said to be light as a feather. I am the queen of sky high lashes so these are definitely at the top of the list.

(4) Sugarpill loose eyeshadow in “Goldilux” is the perfect shade of gold, due to its versatility it is a must have product to anyone’s makeup collection.

(5)Eau des Merveilles by Hermes is my favorite scent of all time. The subtle smell of spiced flowers envelopes you with warmth and an irresistible aroma that is sure to turn heads and spark conversations. Don’t be surprised if the hugs seem a bit longer.

(6) These Tom Joules Red Bow Wellies are to die for. They speak for themselves.

(7) After searching everywhere for the perfect shade of matte red lipstick, I came across this cream lip stain by Sephora in “Always Red”.  At $13 its rich color is flat but bold and definitely sure to make a statement.

(8)Although I do not wear a full face of makeup on the regular I do like to lightly contour my face with concealor in the mornings to hide my silly bags. I have been hear rave reviews about Ben Nye Banana Luxury Powder and its contouring capabilities. Definitely a product I can use.

(9) This Tee from skreened.com says it all… “All I need today is a little bit of coffee and a whole lot of Jesus”. That is how I feel most days when I wake up, finally someone has been able to relate to me.

(10)  Last but not least I had to throw in another pair of boots. These little baddies are such heartstoppers with their tweed encasings and caramel trim. They totally screen “I can still be cute in the cold”. The Chipahko Boots can be found on anthropologie.com.

Recently while bargain shopping I was intrigued by these highly pigmented lip glosses by Nanacoco. So I thought I would share this fabulous find and it’s details with you. I bought these for a steal at $2.99 from “Easy Pickins”. I only say “a steal” because I would never have guessed that these almond scented lovelies would be so inexpensive once they graced my face. In fact, this product is very similar to MAC cosmetics, lip gelees which are priced at $14.50. You can also find Nanacoco online at amazon.com for $3.99. Not only do they have a thick gel-like texture, but the colors are rich once applied. On an opacity scale of 1-100% they are about 75%. Last but certainly not least, I absolutely love the classy packaging, especially due to the fact that I can line them up on my vanity so that I can revel in the array of colors that I have collected so far. The colors I currently own, (pictured  above) are Passion, Kissing Lips, First Kiss and City Girl. I can’t wait to purchase more!! Nanacoco is certainly Paperdawl approved.

Tis the season to be fun, funky, and festive!!!! This quirky paperdawl is wearing pants from bodycentral.com, balmain hot pink quilted jacket and Mad Cat printed sweatshirt by Illustrated People. Her outfit is accessorized with a Marc Jacobs bracelet, Hipanema bangles, Tory Burch wallet and emerald skyscraper earrings from Lulu.com. Last but not least, she is rocking a pair of metallic emerald  snakeskin wedges by Irregular Choice (swoon).

Who says that black can't be fun. This chic little paperdawl is fitted in a belted cardigan and floor length jersey skirt from Dsquared2. The secret to adding a little spunk in an all black ensemble is to accessorize with bold colors.  I chose a cobalt blue color theme and frosted her outfit with a Stella McCartney ring, Mallary Marks sapphire and opal earrings., Hipanema bracelet, and Beth Ordana  tortoise shell cuff. This dawl is so ready to paint the town blue with her papergals. Cheers!

Hey! Hey! Hey! I was doing my daily instagram stalking when I came across this AWESOME jewelry designer Sarah Angold.  I have fallen deeply in love with many of her pieces and had to make a paperdawl ASAP. In fact I made three!! Each paperdawl is equipped with a piece (or two) from Angold's collection.  Enjoy!
Paperdawl 1: The Siren.... This fiery paperdawl is wearing a Balmain structured dress/ Gianvito Rossi suede pumps/ sungloves from youheshe.com/ LAMAT diamond shaped bag/ and earrings by Sarah Angold. She is ready to light fire to the pavement with every audacious step she makes.
Paperdawl 2: The Minimalist... this little paperdawl is not so minimal at all....draped in a simple yet chic Malene Birger Rexy jersey dress/color blocked Aperlai suede pumps/ zip up tote by Alexander McQueen/ and frosted with a more than AWESOME necklace&bracelet by Sarah Angold.

Paperdawl 3: The Ninja... this feisty paperdawl is suited up in a skin tight leather dress by THE ROW/ transparent pumps by Christian Louboutin/ purse from asos.com/ and last but not least my FAVORITE necklace by Sarah Angold. Even though her skin tight leather reinforces her stealthy presence, she would be hard to miss in this ensemble.

Mixing patterns can spice up any ensemble. It creates dimension and adds richness. Today’s paperdawl is wearing a Rick Owens cashmere sweater, covered w/ an Aztec print sweater from storenvy.com, Scotch & Soda low-rise jeans, and Louboutin pumps. To unify the ensemble she is accessorized with a CC Skye bracelet, Eleanor Bolton coil necklace, Chanel clutch, and black lace cut sunnies from shopzerouv.co. Have a little fun mixing and matching.Trust it will make your least expensive piece look like a fortune.
